JamPro Music Factory Students,

We are pleased to announce we have sold the retail store portion of our business to Carpenter’s Music, Reno’s most long-standing, locally owned music store!

Our plan is to repurpose that space to better serve our core business — music education and talent development. We have already started making changes to the facility including the addition of a new performance stage in the front.

As a brief history, we started the retail store at the same time we launched JamPro Music Factory. Our intentions with the store were to provide a resource not only for our students, but for the broader community as well. Over time we came to realize the challenges with retail outweighed the benefits, which became glaringly apparent when we closed retail to the general public at the beginning of the COVID pandemic.

We will continue to sell the music books, repertoire, and select accessories that support the music disciplines we teach and as musicians, we will be happy to advise students on instrument and equipment purchases regardless of where they decide to shop.

We wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our retail business over the years and we encourage you to visit Carpenter’s Music. In addition to a vast selection of music instruments and accessories, they also carry a large inventory of new and used pianos.
