The People Who Make Carpenter’s Music World Great!

Our customers deserve greatness, which is why we’re proud to have a great team of skilled professionals. From our sales team to our delivery team (and everyone in between) we work hard to deliver a great experience to our customers.

Wendell graduated from Brigham Young Young University in 1965 with a B.A. in Music Education. In 1966, he relocated to Reno, Nevada with his wife, Linda. In January of 1968, he opened C&M Music Center with his brother-in-law, Calvin McBride. In 1985 Wendell bought out his partner and the store was renamed Carpenter’s Music World.

For over 40 years, Wendell has been an advocate of the community and has helped bring the gift of music to young and old alike. If you have questions about finding the right piano for your home, he is here to help.

Debi, our office manager and bookkeeper, has lived in the Reno area since 1985 with her husband and children. Debi is a graduate of TMCC and UNR and has three awesome grandsons. Debi is a crucial member of our team and helps hold everything together. She’s the one to contact for billing and account questions.
